How do I create a new subscription for a customer?
Enter customer details
Start by entering your customer's name and email address. The email you enter will be used for any communications with the customer.
Choose from existing plans
Choose a pre-existing payment plan for the relevant customer, and the frequency at which you want to bill the customer for that plan.
Creating a new plan
If you don’t have a suitable plan, you can create one instantly. Enter the payment amount and select a billing frequency — either monthly or annually. You can also add a tax rate to the plan, if necessary.
Select a payment method
- Automatic payments: your customer will automatically be billed for each billing cycle. If your customer doesn't have a saved payment method, they'll receive an email prompting them to securely enter their payment details for the first payment. Future payments will be charged automatically
- Manual payments: your customer will receive an email reminder a few days before each due date and need to pay their subscription bill manually. The reminder email will contain a link to submit their payment
