Revolut ATM dispensed the incorrect cash

If the ATM withdrawal transaction is pending

In most cases, Revolut will have recognised that the transaction has failed and automatically refund the incorrect amount.

It can take up to 15 days for a pending transaction to be reverted and refunded automatically. If you have any questions, use the in-app chat to reach out to our customer support team.

If ATM transaction is completed

For completed withdrawal transactions, Revolut customers can submit a chargeback dispute within the Revolut app. To do so:

  • Go to 'Transactions' and select the relevant transaction
  • Tap 'Get help'
  • Select the relevant topic
  • Raise the request with the details provided

The request should be updated within two weeks. If we need any more information, our Chargeback team will reach out to you.

Non-Revolut customers

Please contact your bank to raise a dispute with the transaction.

You'll need to let your bank know:

  • The amount you requested to withdraw
  • The exact amount of cash you received, including the actual notes received
  • Details of the ATM machine you used to attempt your withdrawal
  • The date and time you requested your withdrawal
