Card activation is an extra security measure we've added to make sure you've received your new physical Revolut card as expected. To activate your card in the Revolut mobile app:

1. Go to 'Home' on the bottom menu
2. Tap the cards section in the top-right corner
3. Choose the card you wish to activate
4. Tap 'Activate now'
5. Select 'I have my card'

Your card is now ready to use.

You can also activate your Revolut card in person. Simply make a payment by inserting the card into a physical terminal and entering your PIN. 

For added security, contactless and online payments are disabled until the card is activated.

If you need to, you can also terminate a card in the Revolut mobile app: 

1. Go to 'Home' on the bottom menu
2. Tap the cards section in the top-right corner
3. Choose the card you wish to terminate
4. Tap 'Settings'
5. Scroll down and tap 'Terminate card'
