How do I manage a Group Pocket?

Group Pockets

With a Group Pocket, you can save together with friends for a common goal. Think a holiday with friends or covering the tab for your next meal together.

How to create a Group Pocket:

  1. Go to Home on the bottom menu
  2. Tap 'Accounts' below your balance
  3. Tap '+ Add new'
  4. Tap 'Pockets'
  5. Tap 'Group' on the 'Choose Pocket type' screen
  6. Choose a name and currency for your Pocket, then tap 'Create Pocket'
  7. Add members to your Pocket and tap 'Invite'
  8. Choose whether the invited members can withdraw money from the Pocket or not
  9. Tap 'Continue'

What can an admin do?

  • Admins have control over the members in a Group Pocket
  • They can add or remove members, and cancel pending invitations
  • Admins can choose which members can withdraw money from the Pocket — and can add or remove these permissions at any time
  • Admins can use spare change round-ups to fund a Group Pocket
  • Only an admin can close a Group Pocket

What can members do?

  • If you're invited to join a Group Pocket, you'll receive a push notification telling you who invited you, along with the name of the Pocket you're invited to join. You can either accept or decline the invitation
  • Members can make one-off payments into the Pocket, or set up recurring payments
  • If an admin has given a member permission, they can withdraw money from the Pocket
  • Members can leave a Group Pocket at any time

You should only join a Group Pocket, or send money to it, if you trust the owner. If the owner closes their Revolut account, or their account is restricted, you won't be able to access the money in their Group Pocket.
