What happens if I don't have sufficient balance in my Bill Pocket when a payment is executed?

We'll send you a notification 24 hours before the payment, so you'll have enough time to top-up your account in order for the payment to go through.

If you don’t have enough money for the transaction in your Pocket, we’ll take it from your main account instead. If there's not enough money in the currency account or assigned Pocket, the transaction will fail.

In this case:

👉 For Direct Debit: You can contact the merchant to trigger the debit again or otherwise submit a normal one-time bank transfer.

👉 For subscriptions: Just add money to your Pocket or account. The merchant should automatically re-attempt to charge the amount.

If your merchant is not charging you again, please contact them directly.
