Which types of ETF are available in the Revolut app?

There are many types of ETFs available on the market, each with its own unique investment strategy and focus. ETFs can be classified based on the investment strategy, the type of securities they invest in, or the underlying indices. We're currently offering non-complex ETFs that are registered in the European Union. Some common types of ETFs include:

Market indices: These ETFs track the performance of a particular stock exchange or the overall market, such as the S&P 500 or the Dow Jones Industrial Average.

Sector indices: These ETFs focus on specific industries or sectors, such as technology, healthcare, or energy.

Bond indices: These ETFs track the performance of a particular bond market, such as government bonds or corporate bonds.

Commodity ETFs: These ETFs invest in physical commodities, such as gold, oil, or agricultural products.

Actively managed portfolios: These ETFs are managed by a team of investment professionals who select the securities to be held within the fund based on their own research and analysis.

There are also ETFs that follow alternative strategies, such as socially responsible investing, or strategies that aim to reduce volatility or minimise risk. It's important for investors to carefully consider their investment objectives and risk tolerance before choosing an ETF.
