Are there any order limits to trade?

The minimum order value on US stocks is $1 (other fees may apply). You can place an order up to a maximum of $100,000 or up to 50,000 shares if they’re worth less than $100,000 in value at any one time. We’ll review this limit over time.

With our Trading Pro add-on, your order limit is increased up to $1,500,000 on US stocks or €1,500,000 on EU stocks, or up to a maximum of 50,000 shares if they're worth less than $1,500,000 on US stocks or €1,500,000 for EU stocks and ETFs.

For example, you can buy $100,000 worth of a stock and then immediately buy another $100,000 of the same stock. However, if the $100,000 is for less than 50,000 shares each time, you can't buy $101,000 worth of stock, unless you’re subscribed to Trading Pro, which offers higher order limits.

You can read more about our Trading Pro features on this page.

Trading limits are subject to change.
