Cancel, amend, or recall a transfer
I need to cancel my transfer
The ability to cancel a transfer depends on multiple factors, such as the payment type, destination country, and timing. Not all transfers can be cancelled once initiated. To check if your transfer can be cancelled, go to 'Transfers' in your Revolut Business app and select the transfer in question. If it's eligible for cancellation, you'll see the 'Cancel transfer' button. When cancellation isn't possible, it's best to request a refund directly from the recipient's bank.
I need to change the transfer details
Changing transfer details is only possible for international SWIFT transfers. However, for local transfers, if you’ve missed or entered the wrong name, the transfer will likely still reach the recipient. Errors in recipient details may result in the transfer bouncing back to your account within 5 working days for local transfers, or up to 20 working days for SWIFT transfers.
Recipient's bank can’t refund my transfer
We recommend requesting a refund from the recipient directly. As part of the recall process, we need to contact the recipient’s bank to request the reversal of your funds. We can't guarantee a successful recall or how long the entire process will take. This is out of our control as the money has left Revolut and is with the recipient’s bank. We appreciate your patience.
If the recipient can't assist you, or you can't reach them, we may be able to attempt to recall the transfer on our side, but we can’t guarantee a successful outcome. To submit a recall request in-app:
- Go to 'Transfers'
- Select the transfer in question
- Tap 'Get help'
- Select 'I want to cancel my transfer'
- Choose 'Submit a recall'
