How can I provide proof of my shareholder structure?

To comply with regulatory requirements, the ultimate beneficial owner (UBO) information on your account should match with the official UBO registry — RBE (registre de bénéficiaires effectifs). The following information should match:

  • Full name of UBOs
  • Date of birth
  • Place of birth
  • Gender
  • Nature and extent of the beneficial interest held or control exercised

Please update the information about the UBOs of your company in your Revolut Business application in the Dashboard tab or on “Guichet unique” (registre de bénéficiaires effectifs), whichever is correct. If you update the information on “Guichet unique”, please upload a registry extract or a screenshot from that official website with the updated information.

If we need your help confirming your company's beneficial owners, just head to your application in the dashboard tab, and follow the instructions to see the documents we can accept as proof.

The documents must contain the names of all beneficial owners of your company and their ownership stake, and dated as mentioned:

  • Articles of Association (Statuts de la sociéte) [most up-to-date copy, but not older than 3 months]
  • Audited Annual Report (Liasse Fiscale) [For the most recently ended financial year]
  • Shares Registry (Registre des bénéficiaires effectifs) [most up-to-date copy, but not older than 3 months]
  • Share Certificate / Cap table / Ownership chart (Table de capitalisation / Organigramme d’actionnariat) [Copy obtained in the last 12 months)

*To provide a cap table or share ownership chart, you can use our example and adapt it. This document will need to be notarised as true content, also signed and dated in the past year by either:

  1. A director of the company, or
  2. Any other person with legal capacity to represent the company (e.g. company secretary). In such a case, you’ll need to provide a proof that the person signing the document has legal capacity to do so.

If any of the above documents provided can't be verified using an unpaid public source, then:

  • For all documents except share certificates, capitalisation (cap) tables, or ownership charts, we may need you to provide a copy of the documents certified as a true copy.
  • For share certificates, capitalisation (cap) tables, or ownership charts, we may need you to provide documents notarised as true content.

We aim to review your documents within 24 hours and we'll let you know if we need any more information. Keep in mind — the documents we can accept depend on the complexity of your company and/or the documents you’ve uploaded previously.
