Managing my eSIM data plan
Top up your data plan
In the Revolut app:
- Go to 'RevPoints' on the bottom menu
- Tap 'eSIM' and 'Get data plan'
- Choose your desired coverage — local for one country, or regional/global for multiple countries
- Select the amount of data you need
- Proceed to check out and purchase your plan
To receive an invoice for your eSIM purchase, request live support by typing 'Live agent' in the in-app chat.
How to check how much data you've used
In the Revolut app:
- Go to 'RevPoints' on the bottom menu
- Tap 'eSIM' and select one of your active plans
- You'll see the remaining data and total data used
If you have notifications enabled on your device, you'll receive a notification when you've used 80% of your data. You'll receive another notification when your data has run out.
Deleting an eSIM
To remove the Revolut eSIM on iOS, go to your device settings, select ‘Mobile service’, then ‘SIMs’, choose the Revolut eSIM, and select 'Delete eSIM'.
The steps to remove an eSIM on Android may vary slightly depending on the manufacturer and model, but the general process is:
- Open your settings
- Navigate to SIM or network settings
- Select the eSIM you want to remove
- Look for an option to remove or delete the SIM
Can I transfer an eSIM data plan to another phone?
eSIM data plans can only be used on the device they were purchased from. You can't use them on another device, even if you've downloaded the Revolut app on that device.
If you need another eSIM for a second device, you'll need to purchase one directly from the Revolut app on that device.
