What's a Default Notice letter?

The Default Notice is a legal notice that informs you of the debt you've incurred due to a breach of your repayment terms from the first time you fail to repay the loan.

Once you've received this letter, it's important to rectify your situation as soon as possible. Otherwise, after 30 calendar days from the date of this letter, the loan is fully exigible and you'll be registered on a national file centralised by the French Central Bank, which may harm your future credit applications with other institutions.
