Who is a financially vulnerable customer?

Identification criteria

In line with France's regulatory requirements, Revolut proactively identifies and supports customers who may be experiencing financial difficulties. You may be considered financially vulnerable if any of the following situations apply to you:

  • You’ve been accepted into over-indebtedness proceedings by an official over-indebtedness commission
  • Based on your account activity, we identify patterns that may indicate financial strain

What patterns indicate financial strain?

You may be considered financially vulnerable if, based on your account activity, we’ve identified:

  • A lower monthly income than the official French minimum wage published by Eurostat, and
  • Repeated payment errors or account irregularities over 3 consecutive months, or
  • 5 or more payment incidents within the same month

Next steps

If we find that your situation matches the criteria set out above, we'll extend the Specific Offer to you that’s dedicated to financially vulnerable customers.
