How do I declare my Revolut accounts?

If you're a French tax resident, you must declare any bank, savings, or investment accounts held outside of France during the tax year.

Which accounts you need to declare

You're responsible for declaring the existence of each account held by a foreign Revolut entity. For example, if you have both a Flexible Cash Funds account and a Crypto account with us, you'll need to declaire 2 different foreign accounts. Check this list for more info:

  • EUR accounts (IBAN FR): Revolut France, succursale de Revolut Bank UAB
  • Other currency accounts: provider varies. Check account info
  • Savings accounts: Revolut France, succursale de Revolut Bank UAB
  • Flexible Cash Funds (money market funds): Revolut Securities Europe UAB – Lithuania
  • Brokerage account for stocks, ETFs and bonds trading: Revolut Securities Europe UAB – Lithuania
  • Robo-Advisor account: Revolut Securities Europe UAB – Lithuania
  • Margin account for CFDs trading: Revolut Securities Europe UAB – Lithuania
  • Cryptocurrencies: Revolut Digital Assets Europe Ltd – Cyprus

Information you'll need for each account

To complete a declaration, specific details are needed for each account. The list below outlines the official Revolut entity information. Personal details, like account numbers and opening dates, can be found in your statements, under 'Documents' within your 'Profile'. Revolut entity details are:

Complete and submit form 3916

You can complete the declaration online when you file your annual income tax return. If you're unsure about any step, we recommend contacting a professional tax advisor.

  • Log in to your personal space on impots.gouv.fr
  • When filling out your return (form no. 2042), find the section for annexes or additional declarations
  • Select the form 'Déclaration par un résident d'un compte ouvert hors de France' (no. 3916 - 3916 bis)
  • Fill out a separate form for each foreign account you hold
  • Submit it with your main tax return
