Documents for the source of funds verification

Employment and freelance income

  • Tax return statement or tax declaration from within the past 2 years containing your full name, total annual income, and deductions
  • Recent payslip(s) or pension slip(s) issued within the last 12 months showing employer/employee names
  • Employment contract — must be current and signed by you and the employer
  • Invoice(s) from within the past 1 year or contract for sales and services for self-employed / business owner / freelancers — must contain your full name and income amounts

Income from investments, financial assets, and property

  • Dividend or portfolio statement from broker/company registrar from within the past 1 year
  • Deed or sales of form CERFA 2759-SD for income from the sale of shares of a private company
  • Tax declaration CERFA 2091-SD/2092-SD for income from the sale of precious metals, stones, jewellery, arts, and more
  • Rental / tenancy / lease agreement from within the past 1 year for income from real estate investment
  • Land registry extract or deed of ownership
  • Signed letter from solicitor / notary / estate agent or notarised deed of sale / completion statement

Inheritance, family support, and legal settlement income

  • Inheritance tax declaration (form CERFA 2705-SD)
  • Grant of probate (with a copy of the will), including the value of the estate
  • Gifting letter from within the past 1 year mentioning details of donor and the amount
  • Donation declaration form (form CERFA 2735-SD)
  • Court order from within the past 1 year and legal settlement agreement

Other source of funds types

Gifts: proof of transfer from the donor is required, as well as the full name of the donor and relationship.

Gaming wins: either a statement of deposit, win, or withdrawal from the gambling platform or evidence of wins and withdrawals from any platforms or organised tournaments. Also provide a corresponding bank statement clearly showing the receipt of funds and main account balance.
