Switching to a French IBAN

If you have recently joined Revolut, initially you will have an LT IBAN, and within 30 days, you will be asked to move to an FR IBAN by following in-app instructions.

To be eligible, you'll need to have the required documentation (i.e. passport, national ID, residence permit or visa), and your country of residence needs to be France. Contact us if you created your account using a driving licence.

Once you've given consent to join the French branch and provided the required information, we'll confirm the issuance of your new FR IBAN for your Revolut account.

We're processing the FR IBAN migration in batches. We'll notify you when it's your time.

Check your eligibility in the Revolut app by looking for a designated tile. If eligible, you will receive periodic reminders to migrate to the FR branch.
