Fraud and cybercrime reporting to national authorities

If you have been a victim of fraud, your first step should always be to submit a fraud report. Afterwards, use the guidance below to report the incident to the appropriate national authorities.

France

  • File a formal complaint at a local police station or start a pre-complaint online via the Ma Sécurité website
  • Report illegal content like scams and phishing to Pharos at internet-signalement.gouv.fr
  • Contact the ACPR for cases involving financial scams
  • Use the THESEE platform via Ma Sécurité at masecurite.interieur.gouv.fr for internet scams including fake sales, hacked accounts, and ransomware
  • Report business-related scams or unfair practices to SignalConso at signal.conso.gouv.fr to notify both the company and the DGCCRF
  • Contact the DGCCRF (Direction générale de la concurrence, de la consommation et de la répression des fraudes) for customer protection and fraud prevention via economie.gouv.fr/dgccrf
  • Use Perceval via FranceConnect to report credit card fraud at service-public.fr
