Using Tap to Pay on iPhone to take payments

What is Tap to Pay?

With Tap to Pay on iPhone and Revolut Pro, you can accept in-person, contactless payments on your iPhone at a fixed fee of 1.7% per transaction (of total transaction value).

You can only accept payments using Tap to Pay in your base or local currency.

How to use Tap to Pay on iPhone?

  • Select ‘Pro’ from the ‘Accounts’ dropdown under your balance
  • Select ‘New sale’
  • Select ‘Tap to Pay on iPhone’ and sign into your Apple Account to accept the T&Cs before your first sale
  • Ask your customer to hold their card or device horizontally over the contactless symbol at the top of your iPhone for a few seconds
  • When you see the ‘Done’ tick, the card read is complete and the transaction is being processed
