Close my account
You won't be able to access your closed account. We can't temporarily pause your account or offer no-cost plans. Make sure you download and keep any statements which you may need for future reference.
Requirements to close your account:
- You must be the account owner
- Withdraw all funds from your accounts, and Merchant account, or add funds, so your balance is 0. Click on your balance to see all currencies, as well as your Merchant balance
- You can send funds to another Revolut account (personal or business) if your balance is very low and it's preventing you from doing an outbound transfer
- Make sure you have no pending transactions
- You must pay for any metal cards issued within the last 3 months
- You can't close your default currency accounts
How to close your account
- Go to 'Settings' by clicking your account name in the top-left corner
- Select 'Account & documents'
- Scroll to the bottom and click 'Close business account'
- Choose a reason for closing your account
If you meet the above conditions, your account will probably be closed instantly. In certain situations, we may not be able to close your account straight away.
