Identity verification issues
Where do I submit my proof of identity?
If we need you to provide proof of identity, you'll receive an email, push notification, and see a banner on your in-app 'Home' screen. Simply tap any notification we send you about your verification and follow the steps we provide to submit your proof of identity.
If you don't see any prompts for this information in-app, check your emails for an update from us — we may already have everything we need.
I don't have the required document
- All supported document types will be listed on the in-app submission screen
- If you've applied for a valid document but haven't received it yet, type 'Live agent' in the in-app chat, as we might be able to extend the deadline. You may need to provide a confirmation letter
My document has been rejected
To pass the verification, your identity document must meet the following criteria:
- It's a supported identity document type
- It isn't handwritten
- It isn't expired, damaged, or unreadable
- The personal information on the document matches the information in your Revolut account

My verification is pending
We always aim to finalise your identity verification as soon as possible. Once it's completed, we'll notify you via email and an in-app notification. The process usually takes up to 1 business day, but may take up to 7 business days in some cases. We appreciate your patience.
