Required information to onboard to trading
During the sign-up process for trading, you’ll need to answer multiple questions and provide some information for regulatory purposes. Among other questions, it includes questions about your income and net worth. You can find more details on this page.
Submit required details
- National identifier: For more information about the national identifier, or national identity number (NIN), go to this FAQ
- Tax identification number (TIN)
To make sure your tax information is accurate:
- Tap your profile icon in the top-left corner
- Tap 'Account'
- Head to 'Personal details' and 'Additional information'
- Scroll down to 'Tax residencies'

Verification checks
The sign-up process may be rejected or delayed in the following circumstances:
- You provided an incorrect TIN(s)
- The TIN(s) provided in your main Revolut account should match the one you enter during the sign-up process. To learn more, read this FAQ in our Help Centre
- If you’ve previously had an investment account with Revolut, we need to undertake some additional checks before we can approve the sign-up
If your investment account verification is pending for longer than two business days, you can contact us via in-app chat.
