ATM withdrawal declaration
Do I need to submit a declaration?
All our customers automatically get a fee-free ATM withdrawal allowance, including anyone on a Standard plan. Depending on your plan, you can withdraw at least Ft75,000 each rolling month without fees. Third-party ATM operator fees may still apply.
Will submitting a declaration give me extra benefits?
By submitting a declaration, you become eligible for fee-free domestic ATM withdrawals up to Ft300,000 per month. This is available for the first 2 transactions, on top of your existing plan limits. You can check your fee-free withdrawal limit and the limit reset date in the Your plan section.
The statutory declaration can only apply to one bank, so submitting it to Revolut will invalidate the benefit at any other bank where you hold funds.
Before submitting the declaration, check our launch promotion offer via this link. Also see if your Revolut plan limit meets your needs, so you can save the statutory benefit for a bank with higher ATM fees. Third-party fees may apply.
How do I submit a declaration?
If you want to submit a declaration, as mandated by Act LXXXV of 2009 on the Provision of Payment Services, review our launch promotion offer this link, where you can find the submission link if you still wish to proceed.
To submit a declaration, you'll need to:
- Have a Hungarian bank account
- Be aged 16 or older
- Be a resident of Hungary
When will my declaration take effect?
If submitted by the 20th of the month, your declaration will be effective by the first of the following month. Submissions after the 20th start from the next month after that.
If you've already submitted a declaration but want to access withdrawals with no extra fees through a new bank account, simply submit a new one at your new bank. If you do so, the benefit will no longer apply to withdrawals from your Revolut account.
If you submit the declaration to another bank by the 20th, your withdrawals with no extra fees will transition to the new account at the beginning of the following month.
