Purchase protection coverage

Purchase protection may offer coverage for the cost of repair or replacement of eligible items you buy with your Revolut Plus, Premium, Metal, or Ultra account, if your purchased item is stolen or accidentally damaged beyond repair within 365 days of purchase (or delivery, whichever is later).

Purchase protection doesn't cover undelivered or damaged-on-arrival items. In other words, to be‌ eligible for a claim, you must have received the item.

Eligibility requirements

You must be a Revolut Plus, Premium, Metal, or Ultra plan holder and have held the paid plan continuously from the time you purchased the item until you submit a claim. To be eligible for purchase protection insurance, an item must also be:

  • Paid for in full with an eligible Revolut plan
  • For personal use
  • Purchased from a retailer (not privately) in your Revolut account’s registered country or within Europe
  • Meet European Conformity safety and environmental certification requirements (if applicable)

Purchase protection only applies to items costing over €50 that are not specifically excluded in the terms and conditions. Other criteria may also apply. Read more about excluded items on this page.

How much can I claim?

The most you can claim in total is the item's original purchase price, up to a limit that depends on the plan you hold:

  • €1,000 for Plus customers
  • €2,500 for Premium customers
  • €10,000 for Metal or Ultra customers

If you file a claim more than 90 days after purchasing the item, depreciation will be applied by the insurance provider.

How to check your coverage

This is only a summary of coverage. Revolut's everyday protection insurance is provided through Qover, not Revolut itself. Qover is responsible for policy terms, conditions, and claim handling.
