What is the maximum trip duration covered by travel insurance?

The maximum trip duration is 30 days per trip for Premium and Metal customers and 90 days for Ultra customers.

If you travel for longer you'll be covered for the first 30 (Premium and Metal) or 90 (Ultra) days only. Unfortunately, we're unable to extend any trip coverage beyond the maximum duration outlined in your policy.

A trip means a holiday or journey which starts when you leave your country of residence and ends when you return. A trip doesn't include travel to and from your normal place of work.

You’re also covered for domestic trips at least 100 km away from your primary residence. This coverage only includes delays, cancellations, and lost or stolen baggage.

Key exclusions:

  • Travel with the intent to receive healthcare or medical treatment of any kind
  • Moving or relocating to a new residence or secondary residence
  • Commuting to and from work, work training, work meetings, or internships
