Bank transfer fees
We apply a small 0.45% special transaction fee on all bank and international transfers. The fee is only applied on transactions amount in excess of Ft 50,000. For example, if you transfer Ft 130,000, you will pay 0.45% on an amount of Ft 80,000.
Paid plans get fee-free allowances or full waivers. Allowances are applied only to the taxable portion of your transfers. For example, if you transfer Ft 130,000, your allowance will decrease only by Ft 80,000.
Sending a bank transfer
- Local bank transfers: we don't charge additional fees for a bank transfer if it's sent to an account in your country and sent in your country's local currency
- We don't charge additional fees for bank transfers within the SEPA region. Outside this region, a small fee may apply. SWIFT transfers are subject to a fee, depending on your plan. We'll always show you applicable fees before you send a transfer in the Revolut app.

Paid plan discounts on transfer fees
- Premium: 20% discount on international transfer fees and Ft 1,000,000 monthly allowance free of the special transaction fee
- Metal: 40% discount on international transfer fees and Ft 1,000,000 monthly allowance free of the special transaction fee
- Ultra: 100% discount (no transfer or transaction fees)
When your money is in transit, intermediary banks are used to complete the transaction and might charge a fee. Revolut doesn't have visibility or control over these fees.
Receiving a bank transfer
Revolut doesn't charge any fees for adding money via bank transfer to your account. However, there are non-Revolut fees that can be charged:
- Your bank might charge a fee for sending a transfer. Contact them for more information. For international (SWIFT) transfers, your external bank may apply fees. Intermediary banks may also charge handling fees from USD15 to USD50
If your transfer is in an unsupported currency, your bank may convert it at their exchange rate, which may lead to a fee. To avoid fees, we recommend using local details, supported countries, and currencies, which you can check in this article.
