A Direct Debit is when you authorise someone else to withdraw from your bank account at regular intervals. Usually, Direct Debits are set up to pay rent, bills, or mortgages.

Direct Debits may be set up from within the Revolut app for some supported merchants. For any other merchant, you'll need to contact the merchant to set up the Direct Debit with them.

• Go to Payments on the bottom menu
• Tap the calendar icon in the top-right
• Tap the '+' icon in the top-right
• Select 'Direct Debit'
• Search for the relevant merchant
• Provide your customer ID and other details

After you submit your request, the merchant may either approve or reject your Direct Debit request, after reviewing the details submitted.
