What are the steps to send money to other Revolut accounts?
There are many different Revolut accounts to where you can transfer funds and a plethora of ways to do it.
From a Revolut Business account to a Personal account
At this moment, you can send funds to a Personal Revolut account by using the beneficiary’s account details.You can do it either through the web interface or the business app:
- Web Interface - Send >>> Add new counterparty >>> Individual >>> Fill in name and surname >>> Choose the United Kingdom (if you still have a GB IBAN) or Lithuania (if you're under our LT IBAN already) as the bank country and the desired currency >>> Fill out the required account details (IBAN+BIC for any other currency / Account Number and Sort Code for GBP) >>> Fill out the beneficiary’s Revolut account address info >>> Confirm the action via SMS code. The Counterparty should now be added and you can either directly click on “Send funds to Name Surname” or go back to the counterparties' list in the ‘Payments’ tab and make the transfer as usual;
- Mobile app - Payments >>> Add new counterparty >>> Individual >>> add Legal name >>> Choose the recipient’s bank country (UK if GB IBAN and Lithuania if LT IBAN) and currency >>> add Accounts details >>> add address >>> Enter passcode; From a Revolut Business to another Revolut Business account
From a Revolut Business account to another Business account
To make the transfer to a Freelanceer account, follow these steps - Send >>> Add new counterparty >>> Company >>> Add the beneficiary’s ‘Legal name’ and click on ‘Create “[Beneficiary’s name]” >>> Choose the United Kingdom (if you still have a GB IBAN) or Lithuania (if LT IBAN) as the bank country and the desired currency >>> Fill out the required account details (IBAN+BIC for any other currency / Account Number and Sort Code for GBP) >>> Fill out the beneficiary’s Revolut account address info >>> Confirm the action via SMS code. After this, the Counterparty should be added and you can either directly click on “Send funds to Name Surname” or go back to the counterparties' list in the ‘Payments’ tab and make the transfer as usual.
To a Company account - The steps should be the same as the ones above.
These transfers should be both instantaneous and free.
If you sent an internal transfer and the funds didn’t arrive at the beneficiary, please contact our Revolut Business Support team straight away.
