Add money with an early access transfer

What are early access transfers?

With early access transfers, Revolut makes the amount available on your account even before we actually receive it from your bank.

Eligibility

To be eligible for early access transfers:

  • Your Revolut account needs to be fully verified and active
  • You need to have an external bank account linked to Revolut (read more about linked accounts in this FAQ)

How to make an early access transfer

Adding money with early access transfer is quick and simple. Just go to the 'Add money' section from your app's 'Home' screen and choose the easy bank transfer method to get started.

If you've already linked your external account, tap 'Transfer to Revolut' from the linked accounts section.

Limits, fees, and time frames

Each early access transfer only allows transactions up to €500. Transactions above that limit will be processed within the usual time frames, as described in this FAQ.

You'll be eligible for two consecutive early access transfers without the need to wait for them to settle with us. You can have a maximum of two unsettled early access transfers at a time. After that, you'll need to wait for one of them to settle before being able to make a third one.

We won't charge you any additional fees for receiving your funds via instant transfer. Your bank might implement charges for transfers to Revolut though, so it's good to check their T&Cs before continuing.
