Getting started with travel insurance
Our travel insurance policy is provided as a benefit with our Premium, Metal and Ultra plans. Your travel insurance is automatically activated the moment you sign up for the Premium, Metal or Ultra plan — no separate activation is required.
If you have an active travel insurance policy and you and your trip meet the coverage requirements, there's no need to notify us about your travel plans. These are automatically covered.
Plans upgraded to Premium, Metal, or Ultra after 5 November 2024
Your trips are covered by travel insurance only if you used your Revolut Premium, Metal, or Ultra plan account to pay for your primary transport and accommodation expenses, and your upgraded plan must be active at the time of booking your trip.
Plans upgraded to Premium, Metal, or Ultra on or before 5 November 2024
The above requirement to purchase your primary transport and accommodation expenses will come into effect for trips booked after 5th December.
