What is an in-app account switching service?

Our in-app account switching service allows you to move your Direct Debits, Standing orders, and salary or other regular income to Revolut form your other bank account at no cost. We usually need up to 10 business days to complete the process.

We will give you the option to select which payments you want to switch to Revolut. The list of payments available for the switch and number of months of data they provide us is determined by your bank. Payments made annually or a couple of months apart might not appear on the list and you will have to contact the creditors yourself.

The list of available banks will be displayed when you enter the switching process. Tap the account selector below your balance → Select your 'main account' → tap on 'Move your payments to Revolut' → 'Get started'.

If you do not see your bank on the selection list, please let us know.

What should I do if I made a mistake and submitted the switch?

If you wish to cancel or edit the switch, you can do so in 24 hours after it was submitted. 

If this is regarding a specific transaction or a couple of transactions, please make sure to prepare: 

  • Your personal details (name and surname).
  • Your Revolut IBAN (International Bank Account Number).
  • Identification of payment partner (account number, name).

After collecting this information, please let us know. This will help us speed up the process.

Can I switch out of Revolut? 

Our In-app account switching process only supports switching third party accounts to Revolut. You cannot use it to switch your Revolut account to a third party.
