Send or request money from other Revolut customers
How to send or request money
- Go to 'Payments' tab
- Tap 'New' (plus sign on the top-right of the screen)
- Search for a past recipient or tap 'Revolut friend' under 'Add new' with a plus sign
- Search by Revtag, add their phone or email, or scan their QR code
- Tap 'Send' or 'Request'
- Enter the amount
- Tap 'Send' or 'Request' again
For privacy reasons, some people won't show up as a Revolut customer until you've sent or received money from them.
Payment links
If you don’t know the other user’s Revolut information, you can create a payment link from the 'Payments' tab.
Limits and fees
Transfers between Revolut customers are always free. Most currencies and countries have no limits. However, if any exchange fees or transfer limits apply to your transfer, we'll show you before you send money in the app.
Timeframes
Transfers between Revolut customers are usually instant. High-value transfers may take additional time to complete checks.
Issues with a transfer
Tap on your transfer in your transaction history to get specialised help on your transfer if needed.
