Revolut — Kids & Teens payments
How do Kids & Teens payments work?
Kids & Teens accounts are sub-accounts, or Pockets, of your personal account and don't have account details. Your kid can send payments to other kids and teens customers in INR. However, they can't send payments to adult customers on the Revolut app or receive regular bank transfers.
Enable payments in your kid’s Kids & Teens account
- Go to 'Payments' on the bottom menu
- Tap 'Discover payments' and select 'Add phone number'
- Have your kid enter their phone number and tap 'Continue'
- Tap 'Allow access to contact' for syncing
To send payments in your kid’s Kids & Teens account
- Go to 'Payments' on the bottom menu
- Tap 'New' to select a recipient or choose one from the suggested section
- Enter the amount and add a note and/or a GIF
- Tap 'Send'
Transactions to unfamiliar recipients require approval from both you and the recipient.
Minimum age for payments
Kids & Teens payments are offered to kids 13 years old and older. We also require the kid's phone number to be added to Kids & Teens to use the feature.
This can also be done directly by your kid at 13 years old and above. If they’re under 13, we’ll first ask for your consent for your kid’s phone number to be added to enable this feature.
Revolut — Kids & Teens payments are subject to account limits based on local T&Cs.
