Multicurrency card top-up methods

Adding money to a multicurrency card

Customers based in India can add money in non-INR currencies to their multicurrency card via UPI, NetBanking, and external bank transfer.

Debit or credit card top-ups are not supported for adding foreign currencies.

Supported currencies

We support the following 33 currencies for top-ups:

AED, AUD, BGN, CAD, CHF, CLP, COP, CZK, DKK, EGP, EUR, GBP, HKD, HUF, ILS, JPY, KRW, KZT, MAD, MXN, NOK, NZD, PHP, PLN, QAR, RON, RSD, SAR, SEK, SGD, THB, TRY, and USD

Process

  • For external bank transfers, we'll provide you with Revolut account details where you need to send INR funds within 3 hours
  • For UPI and NetBanking top-ups, verification is required first and then you can top up

Funds will only be accepted from verified accounts that belong to the customer.

Fees and timeframes

  • Net banking: 1.28% fee + GST
  • UPI and external bank transfer: free (no service fee)
  • GST is also charged on the foreign exchange value directly, applicable to all top-up methods
  • TCS may be applicable based on forex top value and applicable laws
  • UPI and NetBanking top-ups should be processed within minutes of the transaction completion from the customer's end
  • External bank transfer should be processed within 2 hours (IMPS and NEFT are usually faster than RTGS)
