The disruption is primarily affecting prepaid cards issued by Revolut.
What is being done to fix this?
Our engineering teams are currently collaborating with payment aggregators and issuing banks to ensure that recurring transaction tags are recognised correctly across different merchant gateways.
How should I pay for my services in the meantime?
Until we've fixed this technical problem, we recommend the following workarounds:
- Manual payments: visit the merchant's app or website directly and pay for your renewal as a one-time transaction
- Alternative methods: if available, link a standard debit or credit card for recurring bills while using your prepaid card for daily discretionary spending
