Link card to a Pocket and how to manage it
How to link a card to a Pocket
In the Revolut mobile app:
- Tap the cards icon in the top-right corner of your 'Home' screen
- Select the card you want to link to a Pocket
- Tap 'Settings'
- Select 'Spend from'
- Choose the Pocket you want to spend from
You can also link a card from within the Pocket itself. To do so:
- Open the Pocket you want to link a card to
- Scroll down to the payments widget
- Choose 'Link a card'
- Choose a card from the list or order a new one
How to unlink a card from a Pocket
- Tap the cards icon in the top-right corner your 'Home' screen
- Select the card you want to unlink from a Pocket
- Tap 'Settings' for the card settings
- Select 'Spend from'
- Select another pocket you want to spend from or one of the cash options to unlink the card from its current Pocket
You can unlink a card from directly within a Pocket. To do so:
- Open the Pocket you want to unlink a card from
- Scroll down to the payments widget
- Tap the card that's currently linked to the pocket
- Select 'Unlink card'
How to change the card linked to a Pocket
- Open the Pocket you want to link a card to
- Scroll down to the payments widget
- Tap the card that's currently linked to the Pocket
- Select another card from the list or order a new one
Change the Pocket linked to a card
- Tap the cards icon in the top-right corner of your 'Home' screen
- Choose the card you want to link to a Pocket
- Select 'Settings'
- Select the option below 'Spend from'
- Select the Pocket you want to spend from
Manage a card linked to a Pocket
If you attempt to make a card payment without sufficient funds in the Pocket linked to your card, the transaction will be declined. No other Pockets or accounts will be considered. Keep in mind the following:
- You can only link your card to personal Pockets
- You can link active physical and virtual cards
- You can't link multiple cards to your Pocket. A Pocket can only have 1 card linked to it at any given time
- Cards can only be linked to 1 Pocket at a time
