Open a Revolut Pro account

Revolut Pro offers convenient tools for managing your freelance business or side hustle directly in-app. If you’re self-employed and use a Revolut personal account exclusively for business, you can open a Revolut Pro account after passing our verification checks.

Create a Revolut Pro account

In the Revolut mobile app:

  1. Go to 'Home' on the bottom menu
  2. Below your balance, tap 'Accounts'
  3. Tap 'Add new'
  4. Choose 'Pro account' and follow the instructions to complete the application

The verification process usually takes up to 2 business days.

Verification process

  1. Select the category that best describes the nature of your business
  2. Provide a description about products or services you sell to customers
  3. Depending on the business type selected, we may need you to provide proof of business activity or a URL linked to your business activity. For example, a link to your business website, social media, or geolink (e.g. Google Maps)

We may need you to provide additional details. Provide anything you consider may be helpful for us to validate your business activity, such as:

  • Invoices or receipts
  • Contracts or agreements
  • Business related bills
  • Customer reviews
  • Advertising samples or copies

Revolut Pro is available to customers in the UK and EEA (excluding Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, and Switzerland). Revolut Pro T&Cs apply.
