How to purchase a ticket
To purchase a ticket, follow these steps:
- Choose the desired ticket from the ticket selection screen
- Confirm that all the ticket details on the checkout screen match your requirement, and that you are eligible for the ticket
- Fill in any required details for the ticket, such as vehicle side number, line number, passenger details, etc.
- Choose your payment mode and make sure that you have sufficient balance
- Tap the ‘Buy’ button
- Most tickets are activated from the moment of purchase, and can't be purchased for a future date or time. Only purchase a ticket when you are about to use it.
How to use and validate a ticket
To find and use tickets which have been purchased:
- Go to ‘My tickets’
- Scroll through the active tickets or tickets that are yet to be activated
- If your ticket is ‘Expired’, you need to purchase another ticket
- If your ticket is not yet ‘Active’, it may need to be activated by scanning a QR code or entering text somewhere within the vehicle
- Once activated, all important details such as the QR code for validation, ticket title, validity time remaining, zones, and tags will be mentioned on the ‘My tickets’ screen
- To see more details, click on a ticket

Before purchasing a ticket, it is important to ensure that the ticket fits your requirement in terms of:
- Eligibility rules — some tickets may be used only by residents, senior citizens, students etc. Read the eligibility rules for a ticket before purchasing
- Validity — tickets are valid for a limited period of time. Even one-trip tickets may have an upper cap on the validity duration for the single trip
- Number of users — some tickets may be used by multiple people (group or family tickets) at once. Other tickets may be used by any one person at a time, while some tickets can be used only by a specific person with valid ID proof
