Mortgage collateral agreement signing

How do I book an appointment with a notary?

Your dedicated mortgage manager will organise a notary appointment for you, at a time that works for you. Collateral agreements are signed digitally through the e-notaras portal, so you don’t have to visit the office physically.

Can collateral agreement be signed online?

Yes, we encourage all customers to sign collateral agreements online. The process is straightforward and saves time. You'll be given a list of the documents needed and a link to access an online meeting with the notary's office. Your mortgage manager will also attend the online meeting.

What if I can no longer attend meetings with a notary?

Let your mortgage manager know as soon as you can, using the mortgage application screen. To do so, go to ‘Accounts’, select ‘Mortgage refinancing’ and choose ‘Get help’. We'll schedule another time which is suitable for you.

How do I prepare for collateral agreement signing?

Before the agreement signing, your mortgage manager will inform you if any additional documents are needed. A mortgage manager will arrange your meeting and you'll have to attend the meeting through www.enotaras.lt. For joint mortgages, both borrowers have to join and sign the collateral agreement.

Make sure you have your valid document and electronic qualified signature ready. We recommend logging in five to ten minutes before the appointment's start time, to pass the electronic identification.

Once all parties have joined the meeting, the notary will take you through the document and explain the signing process. It shouldn’t take longer than 15 minutes.
