How do I switch my existing bank account to Revolut?

You can switch your account with another bank or payment service provider (PSP) in Lithuania to Revolut for no fee. To switch your account, request live support by typing 'Live agent' in the chat and fill out the request form for the account switching service.

We won't charge you or the receiving provider to use our account switching service. This is in keeping with our regulatory obligations.

To switch to Revolut, you need to already be a Revolut customer and have completed your identity verification in the app.

Using the account switching service

The following services are covered:

  • Register with the account switching service to begin. We'll move your Direct Debits, recurring transfers, and any positive balance to Revolut
  • We'll also send a list of your standing orders. Use our guide to set them up
  • You can ask to close your old account. We'll create the closure notice for you

Our account switching service doesn't cover:

  • Some incoming funds (e.g. social services payments)
  • Direct Debits from certain companies. You must contact them directly to provide your new account details
  • Recurring payments linked to your old debit card
  • Credit facilities, including personal loans and credit cards

Once you register via the account switching form and answer all the questions, we'll tell your payment partners the switch is happening. We'll email you to let you know when the switch is complete.

Your requested switch will take at least 13 business days from the day of submitting the request. More information on the account switching process is available via the Rules PDF between Payment Service Providers.

We'll email you to let you know when the switch has been completed successfully.
