Why did my crypto deposit fail?

Crypto deposits can fail for a few different reasons. The most common are:

  1. Blockchains may reject the transaction. This can happen for a few reasons. Usually, it’s because the network fee you paid was too low or not high enough to cover the transaction. In this event, the transaction is rejected, and the blockchain treats this transaction as if it never happened.
  2. To ensure compliance with security and regulatory standards, we don't support deposits from certain addresses or certain sources (e.g. certain centralised exchanges) which may be associated with high-risk activities. For example, if there’s a risk of potential fraud or from regions subject to legal restrictions.
  3. Deposits may also be declined if our internal controls detect potential risks, fraud, or suspicious activity.
