How do I open a trading account?

To open a trading account with Revolut Securities Europe UAB, you'll need to first open an account with Revolut Bank UAB, verify your identity and meet the following requirements:

  • Be at least 18 years old
  • Have a valid National Identifier number
  • Have at least the 7.3 version of the Revolut app

You can submit an application in the 'Stocks' section by clicking on 'Get Started'. The processing of your application typically takes up to 48 hours. We'll update you when your trading account is ready to use or if we need some more information from you.

When providing your tax identification number during the sign-up process, please ensure it corresponds to your country of residence in-app. You can find more details about the required information here and about valid national identifier numbers here.

Trading accounts are available on all Revolut plans.
