Operating address verification

What is my operating address?

An operating address is the physical location where you conduct your day-to-day business operations. This might be different from the address where the company is registered.

How to verify my operating address

  1. Go to 'Home' screen
  2. Click on 'Requires action' and select 'Business address'
  3. Confirm that the address is correct and submit a document from the available options as proof of your operating address

Once you've submitted the documents, allow us up to 24 hours to verify them and get back to you.

Document requirements

The documents you provide must: 

  • Provided documents must be under the company legal or trading name and match the operating address submitted in your application
  • Be dated within the last 3 months unless otherwise stated below

Supported documents

  • A rental office agreement signed by you confirming one of the following: a duration of 6 months, and valid on the day of onboarding, proof of rental payment dated in the last year
  • Utility bills (e.g. water, electricity, landline, mobile, internet)
  • Bank statement from a physical bank
  • Government correspondence (e.g. court order, traffic line, business rates bill)dated within the last year
  • Three consecutive invoices and a contract from a co-working space provider valid on the date of onboarding and containing your operating address (if dated within the last 6 months)
  • Contract with a customer outlining your business’ products and services
  • Documents from a stock exchange, a regulatory body, or a licensing board/body
