Why wasn't my cash deposit barcode accepted?

Your cash deposit barcode may not have been accepted if it has expired, the store isn't an authorised 'Paysafecash' retailer, or based on your location. Make sure to double-check whether cash deposits are supported in your location by checking our webiste.

Check the expiration time of your top-up code before use, and create a new barcode if it has expired (barcodes are valid for 5 minutes). If the difficulty persists, tap 'Report an issue' on the barcode screen.

How to make sure your barcode is accepted

To make sure your cash deposit barcode gets accepted:

  • Check if the retailer is an authorised POS for 'Paysafecash'
  • Inform the retailer about your cash top-up using the respective product name
  • If the authorised retailer still has difficulty with the barcode, try refreshing and regenerating it
