Sign in with face ID or fingerprint
To enhance the security of your Revolut account, you can enable face ID (iOS only) or biometrics (fingerprint scanning) for unlocking the app and authorising payments.
Enabling face ID or biometrics
To enable either of these options from the Revolut mobile app:
- Tap your profile icon in the top-left corner
- Select 'Security' and 'Sign-in & Passcode'
- Choose the authentication methods you want to enable and follow the in-app steps to finish setting them up
Face ID or biometrics isn't working
If either of these methods aren't working properly, here's a few things you can try:
- Check if face ID (iOS only) or biometrics is enabled for the Revolut app in your device's settings
- If your device is new, you may only be prompted to activate face ID (iOS only) or biometrics in-app after you've already logged in a few times
- Make sure you have the latest version of the Revolut app installed on your device
