Report suspicious call, email, link, or text

Revolut will never ask you to make any payments, call you without booking the call and confirming it with you in advance, or ask you to share any verification or security codes over the phone.

Security measures when dealing with suspicious contacts

  • Reach out to Revolut Support via the in-app chat to confirm whether the contact is legitimate or not
  • For emails, check the email address of the sender for typos or suspicious formats. Legitimate emails use official domains (e.g. @revolut.com instead of [email protected])
  • For calls, check if you're able to see the call details in the Revolut app. Support calls from us are carried out directly within the Revolut app, which criminals can’t replicate
  • If you're not sure of the contact's authenticity, don't share your personal or financial information

What to do if you've fallen victim to a scam

Secure your account:

  • Stop all communication with the scammer
  • Freeze your card in your Revolut app by tapping the card icon in the top-right corner, selecting the card you want to freeze, and tapping 'Freeze'. Alternatively, you can terminate it by going to 'Settings' and tapping 'Terminate card'
  • Reach out to Revolut Support via the in-app chat for assistance
  • Report the fraudulent transaction in-app
  • If possible, report the matter to the police

Report the fraudulent transaction in-app:

  • Go to 'Home' on the bottom menu
  • Select the transaction from your transactions list
  • Select 'Get help'
  • Choose the most relevant option
