What is a stock broker?

In order to buy stocks, you need the assistance of a stockbroker who is licensed to purchase tradable financial assets directly from stock markets on your behalf. For example, Revolut Securities Europe UAB provides customers with the ability to buy and sell stocks on a non-advisory (i.e. execution only) basis via the Revolut app, and transmits those orders to a Third Party Broker.
