Referral reward requirements

For referral rewards to be rewarded, the friend you invited to Revolut has to complete a few necessary steps before the relevant deadline.

Steps your invitee needs to complete

Sign up

They must sign up to Revolut as a new customer using the unique referral link you’ve sent them. They’ll need to verify their identity like all new customers. <18 customers are not eligible for our Referral campaigns.

Add money

Then, your friend must add money to their Revolut account by card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, or bank transfer. Transfers between Revolut accounts won’t count.

Order a physical card

Your invitee will need to order a physical card. Cards associated with Revolut Pro, Revolut <18, Revolut Business, or a Joint Account won’t count.

Make purchases

The invitee must make a minimum number of legitimate purchases with their virtual or physical Revolut card, online or in-store. Purchases with Apple Pay or Google Pay will work too.

  • Currency exchange transactions, transfers, gambling, and gift cards aren’t considered valid purchases

  • The purchase amount needs to be greater or equal to a minimum amount visible on the Referrals screen. This amount is different depending on the referrer’s region

  • Some referral campaigns may require your friend to make a different number of card payments, and/or they might need to be made on separate days before the campaign ends

Check exact requirements for the active campaign

  1. Go to the 'Home' screen
  2. Tap the profile icon in the top-left corner
  3. Select 'Invite friends' to see details of the Referrals campaign relevant to you
