How do I get a Basic account?

You can only request a Basic account if you're currently on a Standard plan and you want to downgrade.

  • Get in touch via the in-app chat
  • Confirm your request to switch to a Basic account
  • Review and accept the terms and conditions

Once approved, you'll be moved to a Basic account

How do I switch to a different plan from Basic?

If you want to switch from Basic to an account with more features (Standard or Premium), get in touch via the in-app chat

  • Once your account has been upgraded to Standard, you can choose to switch to Premium in-app
  • Your existing Revolut card will still work after the upgrade

How do I close my Basic account?

To request the closure of a Basic account:

  • Make sure you have no pending transactions or negative balances
  • Withdraw or transfer any remaining funds
  • Get in touch via the in-app chat to confirm your closure request
