Basic Credit Card

What is the Basic Credit Card and how does it work?

The Basic Credit Card, available to our customers in Mexico, is a regulated product with no fees and a max credit limit of 200 times the daily minimum wage.

It follows strict regulations from financial authorities and offers a simplified credit option. It has no fees, a lower credit limit based on risk grade, and a fixed interest rate structure.

Who is eligible for the Basic Credit Card?

To qualify for a Basic Credit Card, you must have a Revolut Credit Card (new customers must apply for a regular credit card first) and a MXN 0 credit balance.

To request a change to a Basic Credit Card, contact our Customer Support team once you’re sure that you meet these conditions. If your balance isn’t MXN 0, you must pay off outstanding amounts before requesting the switch.
