Refunding a single purchase on an installment plan
If your installment plan is made up of a single purchase, and you return the item, your refund will be credited to your main account. You'll need to transfer the funds to cancel your installment plan.
If you don't transfer these funds yourself, your installment plan will remain active and continue accruing interest.
Refunding multiple purchases on an installment plan
If your installment plan is made up of multiple purchases, and you’ve requested a partial refund, the refund will be credited to your overall credit card balance.
If the refunded amount is higher than your credit card balance, the remaining funds will be credited to your main account.
Your installment plan will remain active and continue to accrue interest until you cancel or repay it.
