Information needed to open an investment account

During the sign-up process for Revolut Markets, you'll need to answer multiple questions and provide some information for regulatory purposes, including (but not limited to):

  • You must confirm you're not a US person, as we can’t open investment accounts for US persons outside the US

If you are a US person, you can’t open an investment account.

Common reasons applications may be declined

Your investment account application may be rejected or delayed in the following circumstances:

  • If you’ve had an investment account before, extra checks are required before approval
  • If you're a US person

If your investment account verification is pending for longer than 2 business days, you can contact us via chat in the Revolut app.
